The researchers from LETOPE (Laboratoire d’études des troubles de l’ordre de la psychopathologie en enfance) of the Université du Québec à Montréal are looking for parents of children aged 6-14 with Gilles de la Tourette syndrome for a study on explosive episodes.
Your participation is valuable to advance research and improve clinical interventions.
Research objectives
The aim of the project is to identify the developmental trajectory of explosive outbursts in youths with Tourette syndrome, in order to better understand the factors that influence explosive outbursts and their consequences on family. To participate, you need to answer an online questionnaire. It will take about 40 minutes. Questions cover the child's explosive outbursts, behavioral flexibility, and impulsivity, as well as family functioning, parental stress and family support.
If you have any questions you may contact directly the research team.
